Enfield Saheli is a non-sectarian organisation set up by Asian women to provide services and activities to support and empower Asian women in the London Borough of Enfield.Saheli is a Hindu word meaning “female friend.”

Co-ordination ....

In order to be able to provide adequate service to the users, Enfield Saheli recruits staff who are able to communicate in at least one Asian language. The languages covered by the staff are Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Tamil. As it is an all women's organisation, only female staff are appointed.

 

The Co-ordinator

She is responsible for the smooth running of the organization and the overall management of projects and staff. Her role is to ensure that the outputs agreed with the funders are being delivered by the projects.

Healthy Living Officer

Her role is to look at ways in which the health of the user community can be improved.

Finance Assistant

She makes sure that the accounts are up-to-date and liaises closely with
the Treasurer.
